The Exude OD25 is optimized for projecting high definition collimated light at distances under 100 yards. This lighter unit is just as bright as its OD40 big brother but idealized for use inside of 100 yards. The natural light wavelength light will not spook predators and can be mounted to a rifle via a (sold separately) rifle mount system. The OD25 is powered by (2) CR123A batteries that keep the collimated light flowing for 2 hrs on high, 2 hrs 30 mins on medium, and 3 hrs 15 mins on low power setting. The 25mm CALS lens system collimates the light output from the generated by the CREE XHP50 LED chips. The smaller lens allows the light to spread out in a pattern that is ideal for subjects between 10 and 100 yards away. *Everybody wants to know the Lumen value, but the 208 Lumen rating of an Exude Light is misleading. As used in reference to flashlights, lumen refers to the total amount of light radiated by the light. Because this measurement doesn't consider the focusing efficiency of a reflector, or the Direct Projection Technology as used in this Exude light, it does not indicate how "bright" the focused beam actually is. A flood lamp with a very wide dim appearing pattern can have the same lumen rating as a very tightly focused intensely bright spot lamp assembly. So, you need to see it to believe it. It’s like there’s a circular HD TV out there.
